Hi Ron I've had that problem too. What you need to do, is put your cursor in the text area like usual. Then, while keeping your finger in that area, turn voice over off then with your finger, do a long press, hopefully when you then turn voice over back on, your keyboard should be there. I can then move down to a keyboard with standard QWERTY keys and a dictate button and enter/search/go button in the bottom right area. I hadn't tried entering anything for a week or so and I noticed there had been an update to the IOS in the past few days. Now when I double tap on an edit field, I no longer see a QWERTY type keyboard anywhere on screen for me to enter text. There is a dictate button, but nothing else. is this a bug introduced recently in the latest IOS update? How can I make the onscreen keyboard appear as it has for years?
