Hi Chris. The song is already downloaded. I can’t find a place that lets me choose audio. Where is it. Maybe I’ll just have to deal with the default which isn’t quite as annoying an 17.1 as the previous sound. Thanks for the suggestions.

I had the song selected, but it still played the default sound for me. But now it works for me. This is what I did. Open music, go to library, and find that song. Flick down, and download should be one of your choices. So choose download. In order for any song to be used as an alarm sound, it must be downloaded to your device. If this for some reason does not work, then I have one more thing to try. Go to music, swipe and choose audio quality. Make sure lossess is turned off. I read online that this sometimes caused an issue. But you might not have to do that if downloading it works. Hope this helps.
