Hello Everyone,

I have so very little time, today, that I will keep this reply extremely brief.

1.
For many years, Android phone users have had the ability to quickly switch
between multiple lock screens. Last year (or the year before), Apple
introduced the ability to create and switch between multiple lock screens, at
will, on iPhone and, recently I believe, on iPad.

2.
There are several reasons why one might want to switch between multiple lock
screens just as one can do on Apple Watch, primarily to use a different set of
widgets.)

3.
I have 4 lock screens on my beloved iPhone 14. And, depending upon my current
activity or mood, I switch between them, from time-to-time. In no way am I
referring to the Focus feature.

So, on my primary lock screen, I have the reminders widget, the weather widget
and the calendar next event widget.

On another lock screen I have the alarm widget, the home climate temperature
widget (this tells me the temp in my house) and the groceries list widget.
Each of my lock screens has its own theme / photo / background.

4.
So far, I have discovered 2 fairly quick and simple methods of switching
between multiple lock screens, on the fly, via VoiceOver.

5.
Given that, apparently, many of you did not know it was possible to switch
between multiple lock screens, I will list the steps to only one method.

Assuming you have created several lock screens, to switch between them, do the
following:

A.
While on the lock screen, single-finger double-tap and hold on the clock
widget. The clock widget will always be in the same location on any lock
screen. After hearing the resulting tri-tone feedback, lift your finger.

B.
Triple-finger swipe from right to left to land on another of your created lock
screens.

Mark

Hi Mark,

I, like others, am not totally understanding what you mean. The lock screen is
only 1 and I don’t think you can get out of it and into a new one. You can set
a Focus one but that is for only when you are in a certain Focus. I hope this
makes sense.

Hello Everyone,

What is the quickest / simplest way to switch between lock screens, via
VoiceOver, in iOS 17? Now I'm not talking about editing a lock screen, just
switching between them for use.

Just want to make certain I am not missing something.

All replies most appreciated.
