I am also having this problem. I went so far as to have my phone forget all of my bluetooth devices and the problem still persued. Then it was time to download IOS 17.3. Then the problem corrected itself. I am typing this email on a bluetooth keyboard, so I’m not sure what will happen when I turn the keyboard off. This certainly is a miserable bug.
