I actually got an email and it told me to learn more with a link and then went on to tell me all the wonderful reasons they made the decision and all they added which I didn’t figure I needed as I use it for BKS.

Just received a message voice dream is going to cost 59
dollars a year now. A pet peeve of mine is everything
requires a subscription. I see nothing in there reasons for
this that affects me. So, nice I had it for so long. It was
a wonderful app, but I am done with it. As with MBraille I
was one of the first to buy it for I think 5 dollars. Makes
me want to cry to lose it, but much more important places to
put my money. On Social Security with a guide dog and so
guess it goes away. Still want to cry after all the books
from Bookshare it has read to me.

I just updated the app, and never received a message at all
from Voice Dream.
How is it possible for them to start charging for something?
Some of us have been using for free actually not for free that
