Subject: Does anyone know how to stop Siri / Safari from opening a default app
in iOS?

Hello Everyone,

I've been fighting a terrible, terrible cold for the last week and, as a
result, have not been able to post some articles to the list. I am just now
beginning to feel a tiny bit better and so wanted to use what little energy
I have to post a question to which I cannot find the answer:

Scenario:
1.
Ask Siri to perform a web search by saying something like, "Search the web
for 'What is Amazon Music Unlimited, single'."

2.
Siri will respond with something like, "OK, I found this on the web for
'What is Amazon Music Unlimited, single'. Check it out."

3.
There will now be 3 items on the display. If you select the first item,
which is usually the answer given by Amazon, instead of opening the answer
in Safari, the Amazon app will open, which has absolutely nothing to do with
your search query.

I find this maddening. And now, even the Google app is doing the same
thing. This is to say, instead of opening a web browser, it will launch the
Amazon app.

Does anyone know how to stop this behavior?

All replies greatly appreciated.

Mark
