This sounds like Audio Ducking is kicking in when not wanted. You can add Audio Ducking to your rotor (Settings,  Accessibility,  Rotor Items). And then turn Audio Ducking off until you really want to have it on?

Good afternoon,

This has been happening for a little while now, but I’m really noticing it now because it happens on a more frequent basis.

I have an iPhone 15 pro, and I use VoiceOver. I could be streaming a show, or listening to a podcast, or listening to a radio station, and everything is fine for a while. Then, I hear like a clicking noise, and the sound of what I’m listening to or watching gets quieter. VoiceOver is still at the same volume though.

I have a theory that this has something to do with VoiceOver, because when I turn it completely off using the triple-tap command, turning VoiceOver off, the sound comes back up to its original volume. I can turn VliceOver on again, and things are good for a while until the next time this happens.

Much of the time I’m listening to or watching something, I’m not using my phone for other things, so VoiceOver is left alone, and I’m honestly baffled as to why my phone is doing this. I don’t know if it has to do with an update, but I doubt it.

Any ideas?

Jim
