Hi Bill,  I find the easiest way to get into my account to check or take action on subscriptions is to do a single finger triple tap on the App Store icon on my home screen, swipe to Updates on the context menu which opens and double tap when it has focus, swipe to Subscriptions on the screen that opens, and double tap to review the apps I've subscribed to.
