I strongly disagree with you about off topic questions. Yes, these can go on way too long, but sometimes a person needs help and isn't certain where to go. Maybe the topic is very remotely connected to a subject on the list, but if we can't help direct someone or give a simple answer, we are a pretty pitiful group.
