Be My Eyes Enters New Industry Sector with Major Customer Wins

‍Be My Eyes announced today at CSUN 2025, a number of new customer wins and
expansion into a new industry sector.

Anaheim, California, 13 March, 2025 - ‍Be My Eyes (bemyeyes.com
<http://bemyeyes.com/> ), the company that connects businesses and governments
with their blind and low vision users and citizens, announced today at CSUN
2025, a number of new customer wins and expansion into a new industry sector.

In October 2024 Be My Eyes and Hilton announced an industry-first partnership
<https://www.bemyeyes.com/blog/be-my-eyes-and-hilton-sign-industry-first-partnership>
that delivered AI-powered assistance from the Hilton Reservations and
Customer Care team, focused on delivering more accessible hotel stays for
guests who are blind or have low vision. Following that successful partnership,
Be My Eyes is now making further inroads into the Travel and Hospitality sector
with a number of new customer announcements, which include a major
international airport and one of the world’s most recognizable airline brands.

‍Roma Fiumicino “Leonardo da Vinci” International Airport is proud to be one of
only a handful of 5-star rated airports in the world (SkyTrax), and the
recipient of the ACI Europe Best Airport Award in 2023, which recognizes
significant progress in accessibility services for passengers. As a core part
of their mission, as well as their desire to retain their leadership, the
airport is committed to innovation and accessibility. Serving over 40 million
passengers a year, they recognize that delivering hyper-personalized travel
experiences to each and every customer can only really be achieved by providing
innovative accessibility-tech to their passengers.

To help them do that they now partner with Be My Eyes to provide the technology
infrastructure for airport information and navigation for travelers who are
blind or have low vision. Using Service Connect(™) from Be My Eyes now
provides the airport with the ability to assist their blind and low vision
customers if and when needed, using a combination of advanced AI and dedicated
service agents.

‍Emirates, one of the world’s most recognized airline brands, knows that great
customer experiences only really matter if they are for everyone. That is why
they have been seeking to provide on-demand digital support services for its
blind and low vision customers. To help achieve this, Emirates will soon be
integrated into the Be My Eyes app, making it the first airline in the world to
launch such a service. Customers who are blind or have low vision can download
the Be My Eyes App for free. Once in the app they can select Emirates from the
in-app Service Directory™, and automatically place a call routed directly to
the Emirates Contact Centre using live one-way video two-way audio. The
Emirates’ agent has a view through the camera of the customer’s device, and can
help with planning and booking the customer’s trip, navigating airport
terminals, finding Emirates services, and much more.

‍Airbus and Be My Eyes are jointly developing an in-flight support offering for
Airbus planes. This in-app service will assist passengers with such tasks as
finding their correct seat number, locating lavatories and emergency exits,
accessing descriptions of safety information and other onboard accommodations,
and more.

“The travel and hospitality market is beginning to make some great strides
forward in accessibility for their blind and low vision customers, with some
very big brands now putting it at the center of their business strategies,”
said Mike Buckley, CEO Be My Eyes. “That’s why we are so proud to be partnering
with big brand hotels like Hilton, airlines like Emirates and travel hubs like
Rome Airport. They are truly world-class example-setters, and we believe also
leaders in a fast growing business sector.”
