Well, for reasons I won't go into here, I just had my wife's iPad mini 6 for a few minutes to add an audio file on it for her, and while I had it I checked two things. Which version, and she is on 26.1 right now. Second, If the voice inflection stuff was available for Siri voices and it is. And, sadly, if you choose Narration, it slows down the same as in iOS 27, so it isn't iOS 27. And, I guess I checked another thing, which is the size of the Siri voices are the same as on my iPhone 16 pro running iOS 27. So, I have no idea if there is any point in updating. Hopefully someone will have and let you know. If my wife updates, I will borrow it long enough to see if there is anything negative with VoiceOver, etc.

I have an eye pad mini six. I use it for zoom and barred and reading books and occasionally, very occasionally reading mail. So I’m wondering if it’s worth it to update 27. When I don’t want is for this iPad to slow down and get sluggish etc. I know it’s too old to get any of the real good stuff that’s in 27, so I’m very strongly considering just not updating except for security updates like the one that they recently offered for iOS 26. Does anybody on this list have a mini six? You have upgraded? And what are your findings? Mary Sent from my iPhone -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
