Do it on the phone in appstore or itunes; it's a lot easier and more accessible; do it before you lose it. apppstore/featured, right at the bottom, just about terms and conditions, and your apple id.

I then tried to look for a redemption option somewhere in the iTunes or app store apps on my 3gs...no dice. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, have they found a workaround?
