On my 3rdGenTouch, all you had to do was choose the percentage/in my case, at least 75%, and that rate would be consistant in all text reading applications. But Now, in my fourth gen touch with latest software, you can choose 75% and it speaks that number and percentage at the faster rate, but won't maintain that rate as the default?
