Mary you do not need an app, just go to: http://amazonmp3.com from Safari on 
your iPhone and you can purchase your music right from the browser and it will 
automatically be added to your cloud music drive which is accessible from the 
Cloud Player app.

Amazon can't create a way for us to purchase their content from an iPhone app 
because if they did Apple would require them to pay them a third of any 
proceeds from the purchases.
