You should also do a speedtest on your internet connection. The best sight is www.speedtest.net, but unfortunately it uses a lot fo flash. It works for me to use the second button in the main flash area, I believe it says Unlabelled 7, but if that doesn't work you might need sighted help with the site. Not so sure about the WiFi except that if you have a laptop you can go to Network and Sharing Centre, click on Change Adapter settings, then find your WiFi adapter, right click on it and select Status. This will display the speed with which you are connected. Monitor that for a few minutes, you have to use the Jaws cursor if you use Jaws that is to read it. Alternatively you can just spend $8 or $10, maybe less, and buy yourself a long enough network cable. Just plug your Apple TV in and watch some stuff and see if you get drop-outs, if you don't then you know it's the WiFi. If you use WiFi there could be any number of reasons for the dropouts from a slow internet connection to a bad WiFi connection, interference from other wireless devices etc. I had a few dropouts on my Apple TV when I had it connected to my WiFi, as soon as I plugged it in it was not a problem any more which means the problem was with my WiFi and not the internet connection/speed.
