Hello List,
I just tested 2 areas which bothered me in iOS 6.0 and 6.0.1. On my iPhone 4S I was not able to adjust Voiceover volume during a call to a level where I could comfortable hear it over the phone call when the phone was on speakerphone. This was especially an issue during calls where I had to enter a bunch of numbers , e.g. when I call my telephone banking line etc. After updating to iOS 6.1 this is unfortunately not significantly improved. If I turn the call volume up as high as it goes with the volume buttons and also turn the rotor to Volume and flick up to 100% I can hear Voiceover at least so it's useable. Of course it also makes the call rather loud and depending on which number I touch Voiceover volume seems to waver up and down. It might be a bit better, but at least on my phone it's not what I would call fixed. The periodic announcement of the call duration while on a phone call on the other hand does seem to have been fixed. I called my cell from from my VoIP business line and stayed on the call for over 3 minutes and Voiceover didn't say a thing. In between I took the phone away from my ear and Voiceover actually seemed to be focused on the phone number and call duration, but it did not announce it. I hope this was not just a fluke and that this is indeed the case because especially if you use a headset and have the phone tucked away under a jacket having to dig it out to move focus away from the call duration was rather inconvenient. I look forward to more findings, but I certainly haven't noticed anything bad yet that is a new bug.
