Hi, I recommend you visit the link I provided and it will give you more
information. However in short, jailbreaking means you gain access to
apps and tweaks which Apple normally doesn't allow. It's not illegal
like some think, but Apple won't support a jailbroken phone. That is a
very simple non-technical explanation.
