By the time I write this you may have already seen the answer, but here goes
anyway.
After performing your search in the app store, locate the Genius icon at the
bottom of your screen; right above that icon will be the picker for the list
of apps. Select the picker, then do a single-finger flick upward and VO will
read each item to you. When you find the one that you want, double-tap on
the app's name near the top of the screen. Then, if you want to hear its
description, switch your rotor to headings and flick downward until you find
the Description heading. Read on from there. If it turns out that the item
isn't what you're looking for, tap the back button and repeat the above
procedure.

to the next item searched. I'm using the flick up to get to headers but if I
go to read about a particular app that I don't seem to be over to make my
way back or to continue searching through headers. Please could someone give

When I went into the app store and tried to locate it using "Newspapers"
in
the search field, I got 1371 results, which was way more than I cared to
sift through. If your difficulty is with locating the app in the app
store, do a search on David Earnest and Newspapers will be result 2 of 4,
here in the U.S. app store.

Thank you for sharing this information. This app will likely replace my
Canadian newspapers app which is no longer accessible. I have checked
three
or four Canadian newspapers and only found problems with the Toronto
Star.
It was not sorted very well by sections. The other thing I have had
difficulty with is exiting an article and returning back to the same
section
that I was in. If anybody can help with that, I would appreciate it.

I have students who, if they're at all interested in current events in
