Hi, To type contractions like done, or can't, just type them in. The word be typed with the apostrophe. If it doesn't show up as the first word do a one finger swipe down to go through the selections.
To type a an email, type your subject then do a two finger swipe down to add a line and start typing your message body. When you have finished what you want to email, do a two finger swipe up to enter the menu. Now select email.
