Scott, That button is like your home button on the iPhone. So press and hold it for voice dialing or siri. I think that you can answer and end a call by pressing it as well, not 100% sure though. Thom

The microphone is the hole on the in-line controller.. The top buttons are for volume and the on/off switch below that. We use a splitter for hooking them to a computer. it separates the microphone and the headphones. Any other questions, let me lnow. I wonder how the bluetooth headsets are.
