Hi Marie,

Just to answer your question about the indoor and outdoor module, no setup
is necessary, they are pre-paired and as soon as you put the batteries in
the outdoor module and the indoor module is plugged in they will talk to
each other automatically. The indoor module also takes some batteries, but
they are only meant to be for backup in case the power goes away or there is
a power fluctuation. The unit comes with a normal I think it's a micro USB
cable and it also comes with a USB wall adapter like you get with many
devices nowadays. Just plug the USB wall adapter in an outlet, plug the USB
cable into it and the micro USB plug on the cable into the indoor module and
you are done. I'll also check how the batteries go in, they are Triple A and
come with the weather station, and I'll let you know.

Regards,

Sieghard

Subject: Netatmo weather station

Sieghard, thank you very much for the info, looking forward to what you will
have to say when you reconnect the unit to your new router using your
IPhone.

I've read all the details about the station on the site and will definitely
buy it if you find it easy to set up.

How about setting the connection between the indoor and outdoor unit? Is it
done via your I device as well? Is it totally accessible? I'd rather not use
a PC unless it's absolutely necessary to do any of the setting up as my
version of JAWS is not as recent as yours and I can't update it easily. but
we won't go into that!

Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Anyone else using the Netatmo weather station? any comments?/thoughts?

Marie

All the best
