When you say that "no keyboard shows up", do you mean you don't have the
virtual keyboard on the screen when your Apple Wireless Keyboard is
connected? The virtual keyboard is hidden by default if your Apple keyboard
is connected, but you can "unhide" it by pressing the very right button in
the top row on the keyboard. I guess Apple assumes you don't want the
virtual keyboard to take up space on the screen if you use a Bluetooth
keyboard so they hide it automatically. If you are in an edit field, your
Bluetooth keyboard is connected and you don't have the virtual keyboard, but
want to use it, press that top right button and Voiceover will say "Keyboard
visible", press it again and Voiceover will say "Keyboard hidden".

I have a slightly different problem, but it may be related to last night,
I'm not sure.

 

I'm using the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. When I double tap the password field
on the iPhone screen, No keyboard shows up. I have to turn off the keyboard,
tap the screen, and then turn the keyboard back on. I have tried using the
up and down arrows on the keyboard that is the normal double tap, but it
must not work in password edit fields.

 

Anyone have any clues about this situation, or how you enter a password
field using the apple keyboard without having to tap the iPhone screen?

It must be something on their end. I had the same trouble last night, but
could get on other sites without problem. Eventually, I was able to
establish a successful connection.

can anyone tell me what's going on with the app Store?  it told me I had
updates 5 items so it said,  but when I go in to the app store, I can't find
anything or voiceover is not recognising them.  Has anyone else got this
problem?
