As a caveat to the above waste of everyone's time (sorry), I have a real question, and that is: I have bought apps for my Ipad 3, which I can presumably use on my Iphone 5. I've backed both up to my Mac, but how do I, or can I, transfer apps that I've already got from pad to phone or vice versa? Seems like a device backup only shares the apps you installed on that device, but if I have a pedometer app on my Ipad, the same one would work even better on my Iphone.
