I don't really know where you did your survey but, most of the people I have talked to who use VO Calendar miss that function as we do need alarms and such. This will show the standard calendar app screen in which you can set an alert. I may integrate that more into VO Calendar itself. But the basic idea is that most people for most events only need to enter a time and text.
