I was just talking with another person who had phoned for support (yes, Digit-Eyes does have free phone and email support). She had an interesting way to deal with her bar codes. When she is shelving the item, she puts a bit of scotch tape over the bar code so that it will be very easy to find the next time. The software reads through the tape without issue.
I think that is pretty clever...
