although I am not familiar with the particular puzzle game, there is a way to move up and down a column. You will need to add "Verticle navigation" to your rotor, if it is not already there. Add it by following these steps.
1. Open Settings.
2. Open General
3. Open Accessibility
4. Double-tap the VoiceOver button
5. Open Rotor Settings
6. Locate "Verticle Navigation" and double-tap it

Now, when you are in the puzzle app and you want to move to the space below your current position, turn the rotor to vertical Navigation and perform a single-finger swipe down. Move up the column with a single-finger swipe up. Hope this helps!

Hi, Denny,

You'll probably hate it when I say this, but it does take practice. You will get instant feedback if you go to the wrong squares. I've heard of folks using rubber bands crossed around the device or tape. Somehow, I actually don't seem to have that tracking problem very much.

As for swiping, if you swipe to the side, you'll get a double tone at the end of each row. Personally, I have trouble remembering spatial details, so that method wouldn't work well for me.

Hello,

That process works for now, but, at least for me, it tends to be not
very reliable; I tend to touch diagonal squares more often than not.

It seems that having a way to flick up and down, to reach the squares
directly above or below your current one, like flicking left and right
will get you to the ones next to your current square, would be a
really good addition to this game.

At my current level, level 7, it is not that big of a deal, but I
think it will become more of an issue as the puzzles become more
complex.

Thanks,

Denny

Hi Denny,
I play Robo-E by moving my index finger around on the screen. Just think of

it as a braill page and each cell of braille is a word, wall, ball ring
etc.
You do have to swipe the screen to move Robo-E and to push the ball into the

rings.

Robo-E to push the ball.

Hello,

I just downloaded this game yesterday and am finding it quite
interesting.

My main question is how do the majority of people on this list
navigate the puzzle? It seems pretty hard to figure out the layout
using VoiceOver. The only ways I can see to review the layout is to
swipe left and right, or to touch the screen in different places.
There doesn't seem to be any way to flick up and down to review
verticly. This makes it very hard to get a good idea of exactly how
the layout is. It is way too easy, I am finding, to touch the wrong
square as you try to see what is directly above, or below, another
square.

Anyone else have a better way to review the layout?

If the developer is on the list, can they let us know why a flick up
and down option can't be put in, so that it is easier to get the
overall layout down?

Thank you,

Denny
