Hello Eileen, I haven't used Navigon much lately, when I am in my home town of 6000 I don't need it. However, I did briefly put in a route earlier and it did not even ask me which navigation mode to use. Anyhow, if you go to Settings and Route you do have a setting there and you can still choose Pedestrian as well as Pedestrian with Voice Announcement. I assume what this means is that whichever setting you choose here is the one which will be active when you choose Pedestrian if you are given the choice between Vehicle and Pedestrian.
I also noticed that once I had started my route and I double tapped on option, that you can change the route profile here on the fly. This is quite handy because for some reason navigon took the Turn by Turn List out of the options menu for Pedestrian navigation, but it is there for Vehicle navigation. If I want to look at the entire route and which directions I am going to get, I can relatively easily switch to Vehicle, then bring up Options again and pull up the Turn by Turn List. Afterwards I can go back and change the profile to Pedestrian again. It's not ideal, but it's a work-around. I really don't know why the Turn by Turn List choice is not there under the options when you have selected Pedestrian. However, the only option I found was "pedestrian." I remebered in previous versions that there were 2 options: one with and one without voice. Has the "pedestrian with voice" been removed or is it located in a different option? Maybe this is why no voice turn-by-turn directions are being announced . An explanations may be necessary to set up this option. Thanks in advance.
