Ouchy. I would not under any circumstances listen to a book or music while walking around my neighborhood. The only thing I have turned on is blind square, and I keep that at a reasonable volume level so I can hear the sounds of traffic, cars backing out of driveways, people walking bye, ETC. Additionally, when I cross streets, I take one ear pud out of my ear so I can hear my traffic surge completely unhindered.Eddie

Since I now have voice dream and am reading a good book on it, I have been looking for a way to carry my iPhone 4S clipped to my shirt collar so I can read as I walk. I happened to have an old victor Stream case and, just for fun, put my iPhone in it. It works very well and I can use the clip to hold it in place. My husband's iPhone 5 is, of course a little too long. If anyone has tried any other means of carrying the phone I'd be interested to know since the Stream case does not fit his iPhone 5. God bless!
