I haven't tried it yet but I'm guessing you are correct. I don't think
it will get rid of the pauses but at least the chirp would be gone which
is a little better. I agree that getting rid of the pause is probably
not currently possible. I think the entire book contents would have to
be loaded into some sort of buffer to make this possible and memory
constraints would come into play.
