I'm not sure of the name of it, but the case from Verizon that is hard and has a belt clip is an excellent choice. It has a part that stays next to you, I clip it to the top of my jeans, and you simply lift the phone out as needed. I've dropped my phone a few times and this case has served me well. I highly recommend it. Oh, and yes, the back of the phone and the sides are covered as well. It doesn't cover any portion of the screen except just the most smallest bit of the very edge that isn't even used visually.
