I'm not a power user of Blind Square. I do like that when I'm walking or riding places, it tells me the intersections I'm coming up to.
Depending on how you have your settings, you can hear what businesses are around you. And it's very easy to toggle those on and off. I haven't run a search for anything, though I see you can. Blind Square gets its information from 4-Square, so, if you haven't already, you will need to download that free app as well. Hope this helps.
