I'm hoping one of you gurus can help me with this. I often want to copy text from a message conversation or from an edit box, etc. in order to paste it into another app. I can't figure out how to do this. I thought I'd turned on almost every rotor option there is in the settings menu but I either don't have one or am missing what I need to choose to do this. I know how to select edit and copy or paste such as after I've used Fleksy to copy something but I'm not getting how to select something myself in order to copy it.
Also, what is the easiest way to select partial text from within a group of words such as part of a text message? I come from the Windows world where I often use shift and the arrow keys to highlight and select characters for copying and pasting. I realize without a keyboard that such a thing is difficult with the iPhone but I'm hoping there is an alternative that someone can explain to me. I believe someone may have mentioned something about pinching text in order to select it but I'm struggling with how that is done with very low vision. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
