MessageYes, the letters are dimmed, but when you double tap on a letter it is creating your word. To find out what letters you have put into making a word, go to the top of the screen and flick until you hear VoiceOver say Played Words button. Flick once more and that is where your word is being formed. Or you can find the beginning letter of the word you are working with, say you are working with Black Bear, find the first letter of Black and then flick once to the left to see where your word is being formed. Each time you double tap on a letter, the letter will show up there. If you make a mistake, simply double tap on the letter in the word to remove it. So say in the word Black Bear you typed the letter b, then the letter K, but you meant to double tap on the letter A, simply double tap on the letter K again in the word black to remove it.
