I think that you had the long extension cord and that was the first case I had on my iPhone 5. I have not recently went to the commuter series OtterBox I have enjoyed it so far only had it for about three weeks. I am very very happy that I can plug in my Bose headphones without having to plug in a long extension cord they would have to stick out of my pocket in order for me to use my Apple meet my Bose headphones.
