Lire is an rss reader that attempts to fetch the text from rss feeds and present it in a simple interface. When it works, it works wonderfully. The application is wonderfully accessible with all elements and controls labeled. The text in some feeds is fetchable and is not in others. If the text can be fetched, Lire will present the full text of the article if you ask for it. It is a paid app of I think $1.99 or $2.99 (maybe $3.99) and an additional cost of $3.99 or $4.99 for unlocking the program to unlimited article fetches. Without this unlock, you are limited to 15 articles. I love the app very much and, with ICatcher, the functionality I had with my now defunct Icon is pretty much restored.
