I've noticed the same thing and had the same thoughts, is this my imagination, did I not notice it before? The more I think about it I'm sure it wasn't there before. Something new is happening with my verizon iPhone 5 within the last 3 days or so. I notice that location tracking shows up in the status bar permanently. This use to not be the case. It sits right next to the battery level. Has anyone else noticed this? Has this always been the case and I just somehow missed it all this time?
