Open the app, then double tap Alerts, the middle tab at the bottom of the
screen, directly above the Home button. The alerts should disappear.

I'm sorry, but I do not use that app, so I am only guessing. I would try double
tapping with one finger on the spot that says 22 alerts, hold my finger until I
heard the tones and then slide to the right and lift my finger. Now explore
above or below that and see if you have a message saying are you sure you want
to delete? Double tap that to confirm you do want to delete the alerts. if
sliding to the right and lifting your finger does not trigger that, try the
double tap, hold and slide to the left. I have seen some developers use that
passthrough. Otherwise, I hope someone using the app will give you the right
answer
