Hi Rob, I just experienced the same thing you did, or I thought I did. But when I double tap the keyboard button and did the command to hear what I wrote, my text was still there. Perhaps you did not lose your text. Perhaps next time if you double tap the braille keyboard button you will find that your text is still there. Perhaps not, but you could give it a try.
