In the setup menu your first asked for your zipcode. So you type that in. Then the app looks up all the various options there and presents them to you. Through the air, Cable TV, Satellite etc. You select the type of service you have. Once setup is finished, TV Guide will show you all the available channels. You my see 500 channels but you can then edit out the ones you didn't pay for or don't watch. Even if you select through the air in setup, you can still edit out those channels you don't want like programming in other languages you don't speak for example. Finally, you can go back into the settings at any time you like and make changes even turning back on channels you have edited out.
