David, when you launch Voice Dream, select the settings button on the bottom of the screen and next to last. The screen that opens will list the various accounts you've set up. I know you said you set up Bookshare but make sure it is in the list and announces your Bookshare user name when you place focus on it.
After you've confirmed that Bookshare is set up, go back to the home screen which I believe may also be called all items. Select and execute the add button which is the first one on the left in the bottom row. You will get a screen with various buttons from which to add content to Voice Dream and one of these should be Bookshare. Execute it and you will be taken to various category buttons from which you can select Bookshare content or you can use the search box at the top to search for specific content. After you find what you want and add it, Voice Dream should present it in the all items list.
