I use the calendar for everything as well. I trained a consumer
recently on using the reminders app and I can see uses for that too.
However, I use the calendar to remind myself of pending appointments,
bills that are paid the same date every month, to give my guide dog
her monthly meds, the monthly payday, and have used it to remind me of
TV shows or even the weekly NFL games that I wanted to watch. And the
list goes on. It is all about what is important to you and how you
want to keep track of those events/things. I like the calendar since I
can set an appointment for 1:00 but get a default reminder 15 minutes
before it. I have also scheduled a few appointments and set the
reminder to occur a day ahead of time, to remind me to fast for the
next day's doctor's appointment where they will take my blood. As I
say, the list is endless.

Wayne Merritt
