Hi Everyone,

I tried to post this message yesterday, but never saw it come through on the
list, so I apologize profusely if you received it twice! If you did, could
someone explain why I am receiving mail from this list, but am not seeing my
own posting? Thanks!

My name is Desi Noller and I live in Phoenix Arizona. I have an iMac, an
iPhone 4S, and a 4th Generation iPod Touch. My husband who is sighted also
uses an iMac, iPhone 4S, and a 2nd Generation iPad. So, I guess you could say
we have become a total Apple family.

Recently, after some very unfortunate dealings with one of the companies who
sells dedicated Braille NoteTakers, I decided to take the plunge and purchase a
Braille Display for use with my Apple products. I have a 40 cell display, and
I have had no trouble connecting it via USB to my iMac, or pairing it with my
iOS devices! When I had a Braille NoteTaker, I stored a lot of information
that I wanted particularly in Braille, on that device. Now that I can't do
that anymore, I would like to find a way to store a number of my Braille and
text files on my iPod Touch. Is anyone else out there using a Braille Display
with an iOS device in place of a dedicated NoteTaker? If so, have you found a
way to store folders and files so that you can have access to them no matter
where you are, and whether or not you have a wireless connection? Any
suggestions would be immensely appreciated!

Desi
