I have a Peak 6000 and what it means is that if your iPhone is down to less than 20% where you get the first low battery warning, you should be able to charge it to 100% 3 times with the Peak 6,000. I find in reality that 3 times is scraping the bottom of the barrel, maybe if you plug it in right when it's at 20% and then don't use yor phone while it is charging then you will get 3 times out of it. You definitely get 2 full charges and a partial third charge out of it.
