I have tried one magazine with Kindle and did not have good results, but that does not mean all of them do not work. The Nook app from Barnes & Noble works well with magazines. But with both apps the great thing is you can download one issue usually a free subscription and try it out. If it doesn't work you can cancel the subscription.
