Hello folks: According to information I found on the net, it has to do with a particular chip found in the iPhone 5. This is a well documented problem with the iPhone 5 and I, also, returned a unit only to receive a new unit with exactly the same problem.
Apple does not publically acknowledge this issue but, according to some information that I've found, it was acknowledged privatly. In recent updates, Apple has attempted to resolve this problem but with limited, or no success. There has been some work-around suggestions, but nothing seems to work very well at all. Cheers. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Don Breda Sent: Thursday, August 15, 2013 7:17 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Major problems streaming internet radio on iPhone 5 I have posted on this subject before but need to say it again just so you know this is not the case with all iPhone 5's. I can stream 320k streams for hours and hours without a single dropout. I can do this on wifi or lte. It just works wonderfully! I only say this to let you know that this is a problem with only some iPhone fives just like losing voiceover for no apparent reason is a problem with only some iPhone fives. Yes that problem I do have grin! Don -- Don Breda <don.br...@gmail.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
