I'm just following up further regarding the Schwan's frozen food app.
Actually, I believe it is listed as Schwan's Food Delivery in the app
store.
First, I did hear back from my tech support issue, hearing back within the
twenty-four hours as promised in the acknowledgement email. The email I
received, it basically apologized for the inconvenience, said my comments
would be forwarded to their IT department and that I would be contacted
again
upon resolution of the error.
Second, even though I couldn't view the app settings, I decided to go
ahead and try to make my purchase this time using the app. And,
surprisingly, my order went through without any problems. I was able to
access a list of my past purchases, not through the my account area as I
still can't get there with the app, but I could get to them by double
tapping the my lists button. Then, I could double tap the buy button on
the item I wanted, and then select the quantity of each item. The
checkout process was also quite easy, even the part about letting me
change my payment method, and I was sent a confirming email once the
purchase had been submitted. Guess they must be trying to push their
mobile apps, or my salesperson seemed to indicate that tonight when he
brought my order and remarked that he saw I was already using the app,
said it was faster than the web and that the company was looking for user
feedback.
