Hi, Yes, iTouch 4 is a scaled down (and slimmer) version of iPhone 4 - it's more of a hybrid between 3GS and 4 in that it has A4 processor yet has 256 MB of RAM. iTouch 5 is again a hybrid design, incorporating iPhone 5C's exterior and Lightning connector with similar computing power to iPhone 4S a5 processor and 512 MB of RAM) with camera of iPhone 4.
