I find selecting a address works the same as it did in IOS 6. Once you
type the letter A, go back up to the top, and just past the entry field
for the to address, you can swipe right through your list of matching
addresses. Just double tap on the address you want.
To be able to delete a message in Gmail, go into Settings -> Mail,
Contacts, Calendars -> and select your mail account. Now double tap on
the account and then the advanced button. Now change move discarded
messages into delete folder instead of archive folder.
BTW, this is just a suggestion, but you might want to use a more
descriptive subject line and send more than one message to the list. I
know there's a lot of list traffic, but in some ways that makes it even
more likely that a message with a pretty generic subject will be
overlooked and not all of your questions will be addressed. That's just
my $0.02 and feel free to just ignore it if you feel strongly otherwise.

A few questions for those with iOS 7
One when using voice over in the mail app and double tapping on the to field if
you type a letter in the to field you are presented with the most recently
contacted individuals that begin with that letter. Question is: how does one
get to the next contact that begins with that letter for example, if I am
typing the letter A and the first contact name is Alex and you want to get to
the next contact that begins with the letter A how do you do it with voiceover
using ios 7?
Two what are containers?
3. Why is it that you have to set up Gmail as an exchange account in order to
be able to delete emails, if you set it up using Gmail itself in the mail app
you're forced to archived them and then delete them why is this?
Four. Am I to understand now that voice over will not repeat what Siri says, is
this a new feature?
5 any ideas, as to how to improve battery life with iOS 7
