Larry - I did confirm that I was one update behind the latest version of the iCloud Control Panel for Windows. Not sure if this new one was released in conjunction with the latest version of iTunes but maybe so.
I do not use any POP accounts and iCloud works very differently with POP. Consequently, it would be best to get advice from someone using POP. When one's main account is imap, iCloud syncs with its own data store and not with the default folders. This is slightly inconvenient. I still use it. Nevertheless, iCloud syncing with Outlook 2010 is working well for me so far after the latest update. Here is a site that discusses various problems and fixes for iCloud and Outlook. I doubt if it has been updated to address any potential issues with the latest version but it still might help you.
