Thanks to all who weighed in on the question I asked regarding my husband's iPhone 4S not ringing while his screen was locked! It did turn out to be that he had "Do Not Disturb" turned on. Fixing this did indeed fix the problem! The odd thing is that neither of us uses the "Do Not Disturb" feature, and he has no idea how it got turned on, but he is grateful to you all for directing us to the right spot! All is right with his phone again now!
